Lol wut. Bondage?
I actually imagined Pyre to be a little more...
Wise and understanding of humans. He's a little more rugged and mean than I anticipated, but meh. He is Charr, afterall.
...
Lol...
Bondage.

There are no good Charr.
"Some of us are more evil than others." Pyre is one evil dude, he just doesn't have a grudge against Humans like the rest of them do.

Even though I'm not a cruel person, I get a deliciously nasty satisfactian after I cleave a minotaur's skull in half. Of course, they're 100% evil, so it's safe.

I always loved to rip the guys in half, it gave me less orbs but the blood spray and seeing the body parts flying in opposite directions always brings a smile to my face.

Agreed.
That's what's wrong with MMORPGs... They're MMO alright but not RPG enough.
*sigh*
My lil Assa is acting like all do-gooder, saying that he understands everyone and all... What kind of people go to Shing Jea to become Assassins and save the world? The hell?
"Ok Pyre, here's the deal. First, you'll help us find Ebon Vanguard or I'm going to go Boa-Sin on your ass. Then I'll think about finding your friends"
/slits throat after Vanguard is rescued.
*sigh*
Real MMORPG is yet to come.

Gwen: *complaining*
Pyre: *taunts you about your lost Ebon Vanguard comrades*
You: *inquires not-so-politely about Ebon Vanguard whereabouts*
Pyre: *derisive mocking*
Gwen: OK, screw this. *uses her Mesmer powers to burn a glowy little mark on Pyre's forehead saying "This Charr belongs to (player character) and is bound to his will, because Domination mesmers can do that, b*tch." *self-satisfied laugh* Now talk, hairball.
Pyre: *spews insults and taunts, glowy mark flares brightly, howls in agony*
You: Wrong answer. Try again.
Pyre: *grudgingly reveals details*
You: Good, Charr, good. As long as I have you at my beck and call, I think you should make yourself useful. Pick up that bow, and fall in line, until I think of a better use for you.
Pyre *growls* My NAME is PYRE! PYRE FIERCESHOT! And when I remove this cursed mark from my forehead, I will write my name on the ground with your entrails, you... *glowy mark flares* AAAAAGH!
You: Wow, that's a neat trick, Gwen. How long will it last?
Gwen: As long as it needs to.

That's why I expected Pyre to be a little more wise with a deeper and more thoughtful voice. Kinda like he's been worn-down by war and death and is tired of it all.
It's usually the smart and cunning ones who learn "wtf" in life before everyone else. And we all know the type of "Aura" Rangers come with automatically...

Also, what do my sexual proclivities and tastes in artwork and pornography have to do with this? If you're making the all-too-common allusion that because of my tastes I get a total hard-on for the Charr and I think they're awesome and blahblahblah, you're an arrogant (and incorrect) moron. I really don't care what the hell the Charr look like for the purposes of my rewrite (or the plot of the damn game), whether they look like furrybait or midget Martians or whatever. The fact of the story is: Charr bad. Charr hate us. "Good" Charr = bulls**t.
EDIT: I seriously think they should have made a Mesmer Domination offhand that was a coiled whip.

Charr and human becoming friends is nothing new.
I think the idea of enemies becoming friends was invented in 1985.
Yah!

I think the OP is kinda right one this one, this is exactly where Domination Magic could come into play, albeit a little less painful then the OP suggested but still i like the idea of Gwen dominating Pyre Fierceshot, just because the Charr are a BEASTY race and i don't like the look of non-evil Charr...

Dull? So it would have been more interesting for you if the Charr literally were all mindless, bloodthirsty beasts, rather than there being some intelligence and organization and reason to their madness?

Uh... yeah, actually. Did you read Anet's stuff, or did you just kneejerk this post?
Because right now, Pyre = Ewok. And he should probably equal... well, eff if I know, but it needs to be better than a lame ass Ewok.
